Frequently asked questions
Is my watch still water-resistant?
The water resistance marked on the caseback only applies if the gaskets are in good condition. They age with time, heat and chemicals: only a test can confirm it.
How often should water resistance be tested?
Once a year if you swim with your watch, and after every opening of the caseback (battery, crystal, service).
Is water resistance guaranteed?
We test water resistance up to 10 bar, but it isn't covered by a warranty. A vintage watch is never guaranteed water-resistant: it's best kept away from water.
